Needed to have the sewer line replaced from house to the street. It took the better part of a full day, but the work was done efficiently and neatly. Large hole was dug to insert the new piping, but after the pipes had been installed, the hole was covered and they made sure all of the ground was even. Once that was done they seeded, fertilized and put down straw on all areas effected by their digging. Three guys arrived at 8:30 am and started digging up my front yard from house (went under the front sidewalk) to the street. I was very impressed with their efficiency and neatness. From start to finish it took them about 8 hours, but part of that time was waiting for the County inspector before they could close up the hole. They turned an unexpected and unpleasant experience into one that I can now boast about. So glad I found them on Angie’s List!! – February 05, 2013 – Linda F

We Bought the coupon off of Angie’s list and they came out right away. It was an awful cold and rainy day but they worked through it all. The technology they have to mark exactly where the problem was really helped us out. The camera they have was amazing. The best part was for us we discovered that the major blockage we had was on the county’s end and they took care of it. Their quick response bought us some time by opening up the pipe with the high pressure cleaning. Called to have bathroom sink unstopped on Friday. (Plumber called previously said he could not unstop sink-probably needed line cleaned out). Talked extensively with person who answered phone–felt she was very knowledgeable and professional. Men came out on Monday, scoped (looked in drain with camera) to see if pipes were collapsed or broken; found out lots of sludge in drain from years of grease, etc. This is also the same pipe that takes away the kitchen drain. Jetted (high pressure water) out line and scoped. Unstopped drain and secured pipes under house which were coming loose. Called back the next day because washing machine drain was stopped up–they came right out and found out “trap” in drain was old and rusted which makes it back up. Cut out section of old pipe when it would not come “undone” and replaced with PVC. Young men who did the work were pleasant, respectful (elderly parents in home) and knowledgeable. Cleaned up their mess. In all, they were there for 1/2 of two days. We felt they did a great job and the price was VERY reasonable for amount of work done. I would like to thank you for the services your company provided for us. We had a break in an embedded vertical drain line. Underground services used a camera to identify the location and cause of the leak. The repairs involved “sleaving” the drain pipe. After determining the problem, the method of repair was discussed and the repairs began. The sleeve was installed and the next day the bladder was removed and repairs completed. The repair only took two days and then the crew did a patch of the existing crack that was in the wall.
The repairs were well done, the crew was very conscientious with their work, and the following cleanup was great. I will use them again if we have another problem with any of our other repair needs.

This time they not only installed an adequate size drain but they did a beautiful job of shaping the cement to run to the drain, and it did an excellent job in the huge l0”-12” rain Monday night August 30th.
Your head supervisor for the job was careful and even meticulous in getting the job done right this time for which we want to commend him. He then went beyond the call of duty and came by early Tuesday morning August 31 to see that the drain was working. I was surprised to see him out side that early in the morning and thanked him personally for his excellent workmanship

I just wanted to thank you for the excellent work that your company did in replacing my Sewer line yesterday. While anticipating much damage and expense to my property and fence, your crew did an excellent job of keeping it to a minimum. I was impressed with the skill, professionalism, and general attitude of those who were on the job.
I am still amazed at how easily they maneuvered that backhoe in that very small area, and how they were able to save my brick wall. I can’t say enough of how grateful I am to all of you. I spend a lot of time and money on my yard, and although I have some work to do replacing bushes, it isn’t nearly as catastrophic as I though it would be.

Description Of Work: I used Underground Services First to fix the line at my house going from the well going to the house. They also replaced the pump bladder that holds the water before it disperses it to the house.
Member Comments: I kind of had an emergency because I did not have any water so they sent someone out right away. They could not repair it right away because they did not have the right equipment, but they had another service man in the area that had the right equipment so he finished his call and came over the same day. Instead of leaving me alone with no water they fixed
everything and finished the job right away. They are very knowledgeable and service-oriented. The owner is a woman and well connected; she knows what it is like to have kids in the house and no water.

Member Comments: – I had a water leak, they came out to use their leak detection system. They found the area of the leak, but could not pinpoint exactly where it was. The owner came back out the next day, found the leak, and fixed the leak. She reassured me that they would take care of it and not charge me additional.

Description Of Work: Conversion from septic system to city sewer. Required re-routing plumbing under the house, boring underground , laying sewer line to the street, excavation of the street and tapping into the city sewer line. Member Comments: Underground Systems were fairly priced and great to deal with. They had a top notch crew that were extremely professional and knew what they were doing. They started on time, and put in extra hours when necessary. With the heavy equipment needed for the job I expected some damage to bushes and numerous trees near the work area, but damage was surprisingly minimal. I could tell they went out of their way to keep things as they were. I highly recommend this company.
